STILL CURIOUS.
People look at the different things I do and wonder which one is really me. The business? The music? The ministry? The truth is, I’ve never experienced them as separate lives. I’m a husband, a father, a musician, a minister, and a man who has been building things for a long time.

IT STARTED
WITH CURIOSITY.
I’ve been around stages since I was a child. I loved performing, but I also wanted to know what was happening behind the curtain. Where would the light hit? What was the sound doing? Who was making sure all these different pieces became one show?
That’s still how my mind works. I want to see the whole thing. I didn’t sit down as a kid and design the life I have now. I kept learning something, finding somewhere it was useful, and discovering another door.
FIND WHAT’S MISSING.
BUILD FROM THERE.
There were plenty of rooms where I was the youngest, the least experienced, or the person nobody was looking at yet. I couldn’t always beat the people who were already established. But I could figure out what they needed and learn how to do it.
That pattern kept repeating. Sometimes the need was practical: a tool, a system, a way to reach customers. Sometimes it was a community that needed a stronger voice or a place to gather. I became interested in building the capacity to keep meeting those needs.
MORE THAN ONE LANE.
ONE CONTINUING LIFE.
Business, music, media, and ministry developed alongside one another. A lesson from one room often became useful in another. Music taught me to listen. Production taught me preparation. Business taught me accountability. Ministry kept bringing me back to people.
I don’t experience those as separate versions of myself. They are different places where the same questions show up: What matters here? What isn’t working? What could become possible?
GROWTH ASKS
SOMETHING OF YOU.
Being capable is useful. Becoming the person everyone calls can also make it difficult to step back. I’m learning to give my own work the attention I’ve spent years giving to others—and to build things that can grow beyond my personal involvement.
That is part of what “Think bigger. Be bigger. Do bigger things” means to me. Ambition asks for more than a larger opportunity. It asks for courage, character, judgment, and the willingness to keep growing.
THIS CHAPTER
IS STILL BEING WRITTEN.
I’ve spent much of my life helping other people bring their work into the world. Now I’m making more room to share my own thinking through books, shows, writing, and conversations.
That’s what this place is for. You get to spend time with how I think, see what I’m working on, and watch me work through some of the same questions I ask other people. I’m still in this thing, too.
