I’m J. Richard Byrd. I’m an entrepreneur, strategist, storyteller, and minister. My work has moved through business, media, music, and the conversations that bring people together.
I’m interested in how an idea reaches people: the language, the setting, the voice, and the experience. Writing, producing, hosting, and publishing give that work different forms.
Before choosing what to build, I want to understand what we’re trying to make possible. That means looking closely at the question, the relationships around it, and the opportunity beyond the immediate assignment.
Through the ByrdOlogy ecosystem, that perspective takes shape in companies, publications, content, and communities. Each has a purpose and a destination of its own.
Faith, family, and ministry are part of how I think about responsibility and legacy. They belong in the same story as business: what we build matters, and so does what it makes possible for other people.
