Dear Friends,Hope all is well. As many of you know, on May 7th, we held what I guess could be called our first preview service. Even without a lot of on the street marketing, God sent roughly 45 people. Our special guest was the Gospel Hip Hop group KING. If 

you have need of a great group for your church. I highly recommend them.

The night went a little something like this. (sorry had a hip hop flashback)

After some bumps in getting some of our sound equipment working properly we started the service. We were favored with 20 minutes of praise worship by the worship team. By the way they sounded amazing, not only were they all middle and high school students, but they had only had one rehearsal. WOW.

We then went into a 45 minute worship concert from KING. They took us from R&B,

HIP HOP, Dirty South, to HYMNS. Definitely one of the most versatile groups of our time. From the youngest to the oldest had a great worship experience. I gave a message called UNSTOPPABLE - Moving from Fear to Faith - from Samuel 14. The over arching theme. God will do exactly what He told you He would do, if only we can past FEAR.

The Lord was very kind - We had one person join the movement and 1 soul come to Christ. We also had 2 additional people express interest in joining the movement.

 

Your prayers were answered. We are off to a tremendous start and God gets all of the glory.

Our next date will be June 25, 2011.  UNSTOPPABLE 2 - No Perfect People Allowed - Please keep this date in mind.

Prayers:

Please pray as we look to find new office space for rehearsals and meetings. Our current space although, quite great and techie is just not conducive to rehearsing.

Please pray earnestly for our outreach areas. We will be announcing several outreach and service initiatives in the next few weeks and need your continued prayers.
