Our Story

Have you ever had that moment when you look up and think I have been in this place too long? This is not the situation for me. Have you ever felt the move of God but been turned off by the “churchism” of the church. Are you looking for freedom to worship Christ in your own way? Then this may be the church for you. I grew up in a strict traditional church. Hand clapping, foot stomping, and lots of rules. I just couldn’t believe that I was a slave to a doctrine or a culture of church. I wanted to be free; I needed to free; I needed to have the freedom to worship.

The Lord gave me a concept one day called Neo-Worship; what would church look like for “under 40″ people if there were no preconceived churchism. What would the music be like?  What would the service look like?  Would there be freedom in worship? What I thought was an album idea at that time, has turned out to be a church plant idea.

What Are We Building:

We are building a place of faith, a place of freedom, and a place of learning. A place of deliverance from church as usual, life as usual, and small thinking. A place that prepares people for Christ’s coming, a place that equips warriors for battle, a place where you are free to be yourself and to worship God.

Think Big:

We think BIG at The Experience Church; we think REALLY big; We think REALLY REALLY Big. There are no impossibilities for God. Crazy, We know. Not perfect, but striving. It has been written that excellence is being better today than you were yesterday. Continually striving is the key. This is a church that doesn’t profess to have all the answers, but we are constantly pursuing God and greatness. We are pursuing excellence. Just want to be better today than we were yesterday; pray more, love more, and grow more. No Apologies.
